Treatment
On your first visit you will meet Dr. Goodman for a comprehensive exam. Records such as photos, radiographs, and impressions may be taken to allow Dr. Goodman to provide a complete diagnosis and treatment plan individualized for you.
When you’re ready for treatment, you can get your braces put on at your convenience. If custom brackets or clear aligners are chosen for your treatment, impressions will be taken to create a computer assisted setup of your teeth. From there the custom brackets or custom clear aligners will be made.
From then on, you’ll come for you visits every 4-10 weeks. Regular visits to your general dentist should be kept up during treatment. If an emergency comes up, call us and let us know. Many orthodontic emergencies can be handled over the phone. If not, it still helps us to know what is wrong before you come in.
When you’re treatment is finished, your retainers will be made specific to your case. You are always welcome to stop by and make sure your retainers are fitting properly and your teeth are still straight.
